Intimate Rainy Maui Elopement

I'll get to these paers a little later today.

This was one of those kinds of days that reminded me, deep down, how much I was made to be a Maui wedding photographer. Even in the midst of one of the rainiest days of the year my eyes were soaking up the beauty and noticing so much tenderness between these two. Their hearts were enough to light up this dreary day.

But first, coffee! They wanted to have a slow morning, starting the day with coffee in bed. I could tell right away why they decided to elope. The simplicity of this day was a right fit for their relationship. This morning wedding session was a chance to capture a more intimate side between them and to get to be comfortable in front of my camera.

While the rain continued to fall, the getting ready began and a plan was made to find an ocean view spot that had a coverage from the rain. As you will see, after the ceremony, the rain let up just in time for us to play on the beach for a little while. The rain scared everyone away and we had all of Kapalua Bay to ourselves!!
